===========================================================================

This model depicts N7531A one of the batch of ten new Boeing 720-023
aircraft delivered to American Airlines during 1960. Boeing designed
the 720 (aka. 707-020) as a lightweight short-haul airliner to operate
from smaller runways that could not be serviced by the heavier 707-123.

The 720s were initially fitted with Pratt & Whitney JT3C-7 turbojets
without water injection. The later 720B models were supplied with the more
efficient JT3D-1 turbofan engines, and all the original 720s were upgraded
to this standard. N7531A is shown in the original configuration.

The zip file contains the FS98 files for the usual layout.
                  ...    \Aircraft\B720_AA\Model
                                          \Panel
                                          \Sound
                                          \Texture

For those who need it, the AIR file for FS51 is stored in the embedded
file: FS51.zip. (Note: the FS98 flight model contains refinements not
available in the FS51 version).

The GIF file is a shot of N7531A on final approach.
