LLCALC -- a powerful lat-long calculator

Llcalc actually wasn't designed for flight-sim enthusiasts, but it could prove quite useful in designing scenery.

A freeware Windows program written in Visual Basic, it has fields for two lat-long positions, as well as fields for x/y offset distance, range (the way the crow flies) distance, and bearing. Enter numbers in any field and it will calculate the missing fields. You can work in feet, metres, miles or kilometres.

It's similar in function to FsOffs, but apparently is not limited to short distances. For the technical-minded, the author says he used "WGS84 values" for the Earth's shape, and got his algorithms from "Map Projections Used by the U. S. Geological Survey", by John P. Snyder, 1982 (Geological Survey Bulletin 1532).

Documentation:  Very good.
Author: David Fowler of Austin, Texas, who works for a DGPS/navigational firm
Distribution: Freeware
