FMC SETUP

When the plane first powers up and you display the FMC, the CDU displays some choices.
飛行機の最初のパワー供給と FMC の表示を行ったら、CDU 表示を選択します
Press the 1L LSK to select the FMC.
LSK の 1L ボタンを押して FMC を選択します
That calls up the IDENT page.
これによって IDENT ページが呼び出されます
The IDENT page requires no data input but lists program information.
IDENT ページはなんのデータ入力も要求しませんが、プログラム情報をリスト表示します
Notice that in the scratchpad next to the 6R LSK it says “POS INIT”.
スクラッチパッドには次に 6R LSK を押すように通知されます　POS INIT と呼びます
Press the 6R LSK and the POS INIT page is displayed.
6R LSK を押すと POS INIT ページが表示されます
Again there is no data entry required here at this time.
再びここではデータの要求はありません
Now press 6R LSK again to get to the ROUTE page.
6R LSK を再び押しますと ROUTE ページになります
Data entry is now required to get a route into the FMC.
データの入力はルートを得るために FMC の中で要求されます



FMC ROUTE PROGRAMMING

You can program a route one of two ways: manually, via data entry into the FMC, or automatically, through the FS2000 Flight Planner.
手動で FMC にデータを入力していく方法と FS2000 のフライトプランナーから自動で入力する方法の 2 つのうちどちらかでプログラムすることができます
If you plan to use the FS2000 Flight Planner you must save your route with a maximum of 8 characters (with no spaces or special characters).
もし FS2000 のフライトプランナーを使用するならば、最大8文字でルートの保存をしてください　（スペースや他の特別な文字は使用しないでください）
If you program you route manually, you have the same 8-character limitation if you wish to save it.
もし手動でルート入力する場合も同じように最大8文字の制限で保存することを推奨します

We shall explain how to load a flight plan from the FS2000 FP first.
FS2000 のフライトプランからどうやって読み込ませるかを説明します
Enter the FS2000 Flight Planner and create a route.
FS2000 にてフライトプランを作成してください
Then save the route with the maximum 8-character limitation in mind.
8 文字までの名前をつけてフライトプランを保存してください
On the ROUTE page you can see a line called CO ROUTE abeam the 3R LSK.
ROUTE ページにて 3R LSK の横に CO ROUTE と呼ばれる一行を見ることができます
Enter the name of your flight plan (without the .pln extension) into the scratchpad of the CDU using the FMC keyboard and then press the 3R LSK.
作ったフライトプラン （拡張子の .pln は表示されません） の名前を FMC キーボードを使用して CDU のスクラッチパッドに入れ、 3R LSK を押します
The route that you created with the FS2000 FP automatically loads.
ルートは FS2000 フライトプランから自動的に読み込まれつくられます
You can review the route by pressing the PREV PAGE and NEXT PAGE keys.
PREV PAGE と NEXT PAGE キーを押すことによりルートのレビューができます
When satisfied, you then have to ACTIVATE and EXECUTE the route.
それらを満たした時 ACTIVATE と EXECUTE がルートにあります
To do this, press the 6R LSK to ACTIVATE and then press the lighted EXEC key on the FMC keypad.
これを行ったら、6R LSK を押して ACTIVATE にし、FMC キーパッドの明るくなっている EXEC キーを押します

There is a pre-programmed route stored in the flight-planning directory that came with the panel, which you can practice with.
パネルを使ってフライトプランのディレクトリーでルートの保管から再プログラムもできます。どちらも練習できます
The route name is JFKMIA1 and can be loaded by placing this route name into the CO ROUTE line of the ROUTE page.
ルート名が JFKMIA1 であった場合はこのルート名を ROUTE ページの CO ROUTE ラインに入れます

To program a route manually you would enter the ICAO 4-letter identifier for the departure and arrival airports into the open boxes in lines 1L and 1R respectively.
手動でのルートプログラムでは出発空港と到着空港の ICAO ４レター識別コードを 1L と 1R のそれぞれの入力欄に入力します
Type in the departure runway and drop it into the space abeam 2L LSK.
出発滑走路のタイプを 2L LSK の横のスペースに入れます
Press the NEXT PAGE key where you will find the route entry pages.
NEXT PAGE キーを押してルートエントリーページを探します
The left side of the CDU is used to enter airways.
CDU の左側は航空路を入力するために使用します
The right side is used to enter fixes.
右側はフィックスを入力するために使用します
So if you want to program a route that uses only VORs and waypoints you would put them all into the right side LSK lines.
もしルートのプログラムが VOR とウェイポイントを使用する場合は右側の LSK ラインを使って入力します
If you have airways then you would place the airway name in the left side LSK in the next line just after the first waypoint of the airway.
もし使用したい航空路がある場合は航空路名を左側の LSK で最初に表示された航空路のウェイポイントの次のラインに入れていきます
You must then enter the ending waypoint of the airway in the right LSK of the same line to complete the airway entry.
いくつかの正確な航空路のエントリーを右側の LSK を使って航空路の最終のウェイポイントを入力しなければなりません
Continue to do this until you have finished programming the route and then ACTIVATE and EXEC the route as described previously.
同様にして ACTIVATE と EXEC を使い、ルートのプログラミングをこれらの操作にて最後までつづけて入力していきます

To save a manually programmed route you press the MENU key and then the SAVE ROUTE key abeam the 5R LSK.
手動でのルートプログラムの保存は MENU キーを押して 5R LSK の横の SAVE ROUTE キーを押します
Select the 1L to save a route programmed into RTE 1 unless you were programming RTE 2 routes.
1L キーを選択して、もし RTE 2 ルートをプログラミングしないのであれば RTE 1 にルートを保存します
Then select 2L.
2L キーを選択します
With this selection a “filename” line is displayed abeam the 5L LSK.
このセレクションでは "ファイルネーム" ラインは 5L LSK の横に表示されています
Type in the 8-letter name of the route and then drop it into the 5L LSK by pressing the 5L LSK button.
ルートの８文字の名前を入力して 5L LSK ボタンを押して 5L LSK のところに入れます
You then get a “SAVE ROUTE TO DISK” prompt abeam the 6L LSK.
そうすると 6L LSK の横に "SAVE ROUTE TO DISK" と表示されます
Press the 6L LSK and the route is saved.
6L LSK を押してルートを保存します
To call up the route again in the future you would enter the same name and put it in the CO ROUTE line of the ROUTE page.
ルートを再度呼び出す場合は ROUTE ページの CO ROUTE ラインに保存した時の名前を入力します
