1) How to normally align the IRUs:
通常の IRU のアライン方法

The aircraft must be on the ground and not moved during alignment process.
飛行機はアラインメント処理中は地上において動いてはならない

Both AC and DC power must be on the aircraft (i.e. AC Buses powered).
AC と DC の両方のパワーが飛行機に供給されていなければならない ( AC バスパワー )

Place all three IRS Mode Selector knobs to the NAV position.
3 つの全ての IRS のセレクターノブを NAV ポジションします

Observe the ON DC lights come on momentarily (self test) followed by the steady illumination of the ALIGN lights.
ON DC ライトを観察してください。 ALIGN ライトの照明が安定するのにしたがってちょっとの間点灯 ( セルフテスト ) します

Place the DSPL SEL knob to PPOS and the SYS DSPL knob to one of the IRUs to be aligned.
DSPL SEL ノブを PPOS にして、SYS DSPL ノブを IRU のひとつに合わせアラインします

Now enter the current aircraft latitude/longitude position:
現在の飛行機の緯度／経度ポジションを入力します

Example: Current aircraft position = N4037.7 W07346.2
たとえば：現在の飛行機のポジション = N4037.7 W07346.2

For IRS Keypad entry of co-ordinates: press the “N” key followed by 40377 then press the “W” key followed by 07346.2 and press the ENT key.
IRS キーパッドでコーディネート入力："N" キーを押して 40377 を入力し、"W" キーを押して 07346.2 を入力し、ENT キーを押します

For FMC entry of co-ordinates: Press the INIT REF key to find the POS INIT page.
FMC でコーディネート入力：INIT REF キーを押して POS INIT ページにします
If this page is not displayed press the 6L LSK (< INDEX) and select the < POS INIT page.
もしこのページが表示されない場合は 6L LSK ( < INDEX ) を押して < POS INIT ページを選択してください
Enter co-ordinates manually into the FMC scratchpad using the FMC keyboard and then press the 5R LSK to put
the co-ordinates into the “SET IRS POS” boxes.
FMC のスクラッチパッドに FMC キーパッドを使って手動でコーディネートを入力し、5R LSK を押して "SET IRS POS" ボックスにコーディネートを入れてください

Full alignment will take 2 minutes from the time the IRU Selectors are placed in NAV.
フルアライメントは IRU セレクターを NAV にしてから 2 分かかります

Notes:

-	Lat./long. position must be entered using all digits. 緯度／経度ポジションはすべての数字を入力しなければなりません You cannot leave out　zeros. 0 を省くことはできません In this example entry of W7346.2 would be invalid. この例では W7346.2 と入力することは不正となります
-	To find current aircraft lat./long. position use <shift> <z> and find the co-ordinates shown in the top left corner of the outside window. 現在の飛行機の緯度／経度ポジションは Shift + z キーにより画面の左上に表示させることができます
-	IRUs may be aligned individually or all at the same time. IRUs は個別にアラインしても全てをアラインしても同じ時間がかかります
-	Co-ordinates entered using the IRS Keypad (or FMC) during alignment will be transferred to ALL IRUs during alignment. コーディネートは IRS キーパッド ( または FMC ) を使って入力します。アライメントの間、全ての IRUs のアライメントの間に送られます It is not necessary to enter coordinates individually for each IRU. それぞれの IRU に個別にコーディネートを入力することは必要ありません
-	Full alignment is indicated by the ALIGN lights extinguishing and the EADI attitude ball being displayed. フルアライメントは ALIGN ライトが消灯し、EADI 姿勢ボールが表示されることにより終了したことがわかります
-	You can monitor the alignment countdown by placing the DSPL SEL switch to HDG. DSPL SEL スイッチを HDG にすることでアライメントのカウントダウンをモニターすることができます This will show a countdown of seconds to the end of alignment. これはアライメントの終了の秒のカウントダウンが表示されます
-	If alignment fails, the ALIGN lights will flash. もしアライメントが失敗した場合は、ALIGN ライトがフラッシュします You must turn the IRS Select knobs OFF and then to NAV to attempt another alignment. NAV にして他のアライメントを試すために IRS セレクトノブを OFF にしなければなりません
