1- Vertical Speed Window:
昇降スピードウィンドウ

- Normally blank, it opens up when the V/S button is pressed.
通常は消えていて、V/S ボタンが押されると開き表示されます
- When opened it displays the current aircraft vertical speed.
開いた時は現在の飛行機の昇降速度が表示されます

2- Vertical Speed Thumb Wheel:
昇降速度ホイール

- It is used to adjust the vertical speed in the VERT SPD window.
VERT SPD ウィンドウの昇降速度の調整に使います
- It is active only when the VERT SPD window is open.
VERT SPD ウィンドウが開いている時にアクティブになります
- It adjusts vertical speed in 100-foot increments.
100 フィート／分単位でスピードを調整します

3- V/S Mode:
V/S モード

- When pressed, it engages the plane in the vertical speed mode.
これが押されると昇降スピードモードになります
- It engages the autothrottle in the SPD mode.
オートスロットルが SPD モードでエンゲージされます
- When pressed, it opens up the VERT SPD window.
これを押すと VERT SPD ウィンドウが開きます
- Vertical speed mode is only available when your present altitude differs from the altitude in the MCP ALT window.
昇降スピードモードは MCP ALT ウィンドウの高度と現在の高度が異なった場合のみ機能します
- V/S is annunciated in the EADI.
V/S は EADI に告知されます

4- Flight Level Change Mode (FL CH):
フライトレベルチェンジモード ( FL CH )

- It engages the plane in an airspeed-dependent climb or descent.
上昇または降下の対気速度により飛行機がエンゲージされます
- It engages the autothrottle automatically in the FL CH mode.
オートスロットルは自動的に FL CH モードにエンゲージされます
- It engages pitch automatically in the SPD mode to maintain airspeed.
SPD モードは対気速度を維持するために自動的にピッチをエンゲージします
- It resets the airspeed window to the current indicated airspeed.
対気速度ウィンドウは現在の対気速度表示にリセットされます
- This mode will fly the airplane to the altitude set in the ALT window.
このモードは ALT ウィンドウに設定された高度を飛行機が飛行します
If a climb is required, it gives you climb power and pitch to maintain the selected airspeed.
もし上昇が必要なら選択された対気速度を維持するように上昇パワーとピッチが与えられます
If a descent is required, it gives you IDLE thrust and pitch to maintain the selected airspeed.
もし降下が必要なら選択された対気速度を維持するようにスラストは IDLE にされピッチが与えられます
- FL CH and SPD are announced on the EADI.

5- Vertical Navigation Mode (VNAV):
垂直ナビゲーションモード ( VNAV )

- It transfers control of the climb/cruise/descent to the FMC.
上昇／巡航／降下のコントロールが FMC に送られます
- Autothrottle modes are selected automatically during VNAV engagement.
オートスロットルモードは VNAV がエンゲージされている間自動的に選択されます
- The airspeed window blanks out and airspeed control is via the FMC.
対気速度ウィンドウは消され、FMC を通して対気速度がコントロールされます
- VNAV is annunciated on the EADI.
