WARNING / FIRE SYSTEM DESCRIPTION
警報／防火システムについて
The main component of the warning system is called the Crew Alerting System (CAS).
警報システムのメインコンポーネントはクルーアラーティングシステム ( CAS ) と呼ばれます
The CAS messages are all displayed on the EICAS upper screen.

There are three different types of messages: Warnings, Cautions, and Advisories.

The messages are displayed according to the following priorities: Warnings are listed first, followed by Cautions and then Advisories.

Cautions and Advisories can be cancelled from the screen using the “cancel” button located on the main panel.

The only way to clear a Warning message is to fix the condition that triggered the Warning.

Any time a Warning or Caution message appears on the CAS in flight, the master WARNING or CAUTION light illuminates in a button located on the glare shield.

This provides the pilot with a visual clue that there is something wrong with the airplane.

Additionally, Warnings and Cautions will trigger an audible alert when the plane is in flight.

Pressing the Warning/Caution button will cancel the audible alert and clear the button light.

Warning and Caution annunciators are located on the main panel to the left of the EICAS screens.

These annunciators illuminate along with the appropriate CAS message when the indicated condition exists.

These annunciators are for systems that are critical to safety of flight and provide the pilot with an additional clue that something is wrong with the airplane.

The fire warning system provides notification of an engine fire, APU fire or cargo compartment fire.

The FIRE annunciator on the main panel along with a CAS warning is displayed.

There are also fire handles for both the engines and the APU.

The handle will light up red to indicate a fire.

The Ground Proximity Warning System (GPWS) will provide aural warnings for the pilot in the event of the following conditions:
