LANDING GEAR and BRAKES

The landing gear consists of two main gear trucks and one nose gear.
着陸ギアは、2つのメインギアと1つのノーズギアで構成されています。
Control for the landing gear is provided by a handle on the far side of the main panel.
着陸ギアの制御は、メインパネルの向こう側(遠い方)にあるハンドルにより行われます。
Three positions are available:
3つの位置が有効です　：
DOWN, UP and OFF.
DOWN、UPおよびOFFです。
Hydraulic power from the Center system is required for landing gear retraction and extension.
中央システムからの油圧動力が、着陸ギアの収納と展開に必要です。
An electric backup system is provided as an alternate means for gear extension.
電子バックアップシステムが、ギア展開のために代替手段として提供されています。

Placing the gear handle in the UP position commands gear retraction if Center hydraulic power is available.
UPの位置にギアハンドルを移動すると、油圧動力が利用可能であれば、ギアを収納させます。
After gear retraction, the handle is normally placed in the OFF position (via mouse click on the gear handle).
ギア収納後、ハンドルは通常OFFの位置に移動させます。(ギアハンドルをマウスでクリックすることにより)
This position cuts off hydraulic power to the landing gear so that the gear are held UP mechanically.
この位置は着陸ギアへの油圧パワーをカットします。着陸ギアは機械的にアップ位置に固定されます。
Placing the gear in the DOWN position commands the gear extension sequence.
DOWNの位置にギアハンドルを移動すると、ギアを展開させます。
Retraction and extension is monitored by the gear indication system above the gear handle on the main panel.
収納と展開は、メインパネル上のギアハンドルの上にあるギア表示システムによりモニタできます。
An alternate gear extension system is provided if the gear fail to extend normally.
代替ギア展開システムは、ギアが通常の展開に失敗した場合に使用されます。
The system uses an electric motor to release the mechanical up-locks holding the gear in place.
(代替ギア展開)システムは、ギア格納場所にある機械的なアップ-ロックを解除するために、電動モーターを使用します。
The gear are then extended by gravity and airloads.
ギアは、重力と空力負荷によって展開されます。
The use of this alternate system requires electrical power only.

The main gear have hydraulic brakes that can be controlled manually or automatically via an Autobrake system.
メインギアには、自動ブレーキシステムを介した手動あるいは自動制御による油圧ブレーキシステムがついています。
The brake system is normally powered by the Right hydraulic system.
ブレーキシステムは、通常右側の油圧システムの動力を使用します。
An alternate means to power the brake system is provided by the Center hydraulic system.
ブレーキシステムへ動力を与える代替手段は、中央油圧システムです。
If both Center and Right hydraulic power sources fail, a reserve brake system can be used to restore hydraulic pressure to the brakes.
もし、中央および右の油圧システムの動力源の両方が故障すると、ブレーキへ油圧を回すために予備ブレーキシステムが使われます。

Brakes can be applied automatically using the Autobrake system.
ブレーキは、オートブレーキシステムを使用することで自動的動作します。
The Autobrakes use the normal braking system to provide a metered braking application in the event of a rejected takeoff or during the landing rollout.
オートブレーキは、離陸を中止した場合や着陸ロールアウト中に、計算されたブレーキ距離を与えるため、通常のブレーキシステムを使います。
The system is controlled by the Autobrake selector on the main panel.
その(ブオートブレーキ)システムは、メインパネル上のオートブレーキセレクタにより制御されます。
The following positions are available: RTO, OFF, DISARM, 1, 2, 3, 4, and MAX AUTO.
次の位置が有効です: RTO, OFF, DISARM, 1, 2, 3, 4, および MAX AUTO。

The Autobrakes use information from the IRS system to apply braking at a set deceleration rate based on the Autobrake selector switch setting.
オートブレーキは、オートブレーキセレクタスイッチの設定を元に、ブレーキに減速率をを与える際にIRSシステムからの情報を使用します。
For takeoff, the RTO position applies maximum available braking during a rejected takeoff.
離陸時、RTOの位置は、離陸を中断時に最大限のブレーキがかかります。
The system is armed when reaching 85 knots and is activated if both power levers are reduced to idle.
ブレーキシステムは、85ノットに到した時に作動し、両方のパワーレバーがアイドルにされるとアクティブになります。
For landing, selecting positions 1 through MAX applies a varying amount of braking with 1 being the least amount and MAX being the most.
着陸時、1からMAXの位置を選択すると、最小のブレーキ量である1から最大であるMAXまで様々なブレーキ量を与えます。
The Autobrake system is automatically disengaged when manual brakes are applied.
オートブレーキシステムは、マニュアルブレーキが使用されると自動的に解除されます。


Landing Gear Controls and Indicators

1- Landing Gear Handle: Raises and lowers the gear hydraulically.
着陸ギアハンドル: 油圧によりギアを上げ下げします。

  • Landing gear commanded up.
    着陸ギア収納。

  • Hydraulic power to the gear is cut off.
    ギアへの油圧動力を切り離します。
    
    
  • Normally selected in flight after gear retraction.
    通常、ギアを収納した後のフライト中に選択します。
    
    
• DOWN
  
  
  • Landing gear commanded down.
    着陸ギア展開。
    
    

2- Landing Gear Position Indicators: The respective gear assembly is down and locked when illuminated.
着陸ギア位置表示器: それぞれのギアがダウンしロックされると点灯します。

3- DOORS Disagree Light: Illuminates any time the landing gear doors are not in agreement with the landing gear handle position.
DOORSディスエンゲージライト: 着陸ギアのドアが着陸ギアの操作位置と一致していない場合には、いつでも点灯します。
Illuminates normally during the gear extension and retraction sequence.
通常、ギアの展開および収納処理中に点灯します。

• Note: The DOORS light remains illuminated when the gear are extended using the alternate gear switch.
  注意: ギアが代替ギアスイッチを使って展開されたときは、DOORSライトは点灯したままになります。
  
  

4- GEAR Disagree Light: Illuminates if any one landing gear assembly is not in the commanded position.
GEARディスエンゲージライト: どちらか1つの着陸ギアが指示した位置にない場合に点灯します。
Illuminates normally during the gear extension and retraction sequence.
通常、ギアの展開および収納処理中に点灯します。

5- TAIL Skid light: Illuminates if the tail skid is not in the commanded position.
TAILスキッドライト: テールスキッドが、指示した位置にない場合に点灯します。
The tail skid extends and retracts with the normal gear extension and retraction sequences.
テールスキッドは、通常ギアの展開や収納処理中に展開および収納が行われます。
The tail skid does not extend when using the alternate gear extension procedure.
テールスキッドは、代替ギア展開手順を使用したときには展開されません。


Alternate Gear Extension and GPWS Override Controls
代替ギア展開およびGWPSのオーバーライド制御

1- Alternate Gear Extend Switch: Electrically controls the extension of the landing gear by releasing the mechanical up-locks.
代替ギア展開スイッチ: 機械的なロックを解除することで着陸ギアの展開を電子的に制御します。

• The landing gear handle should be placed down when using the alternate extend switch.
  着陸ギアハンドルは、代替展開スイッチを使う時にダウンの位置にします。
  
  
• The DOORS light remains illuminated when using this extension procedure.
  DOORSライトは、この展開手順を使う時には点灯したままになります。
  
  

2- Ground Proximity Override Switches: Override the GPWS system when landing with an abnormal gear or flap configuration.
地上接近警報装置: 異常なギアやフラップコンフィグレーションにおける着陸時に、GPWSシステムをオーバーライドします。

• FLAP OVRD
  
  
  • Inhibits "TOO LOW ... FLAPS" GPWS aural warning.
    "TOO LOW ... FLAPS" GPWSの音声警報を抑制します。
    
    
• GEAR OVRD
  
  
  • Inhibits "TOO LOW ... GEAR" GPWS aural warning.
    "TOO LOW ... GEAR" GWPSの音声警報を抑制します。
    
    

Autobrake Controls
オートブレーキ制御

1- AUTO BRAKES Light: Illuminates if the Autobrakes are disarmed automatically or manually.
AUTO BRAKES ライト: オートブレーキが、自動的にもしくは手動で解除されると点灯します。

• Autobrakes are disarmed when manual braking is applied.
  オートブレーキは、マニュアルブレーキが使用されると解除されます。
  
  
• Illuminates if the Autobrake selector is placed in the DISARM position.
  オートブレーキセレクタがDISARMの位置にある場合にも点灯します。
  
  

2- AUTO BRAKES Selector: Selects Autobrakes for use on takeoff or landing.
AUTO BRAKES セレクタ: 離陸や着陸時に使用するオートブレーキを選択します。

• RTO
  
  
  • Takeoff setting. Provides maximum braking in the event of a rejected takeoff.
    離陸時設定。 離陸中止時に最大のブレーキを供給します。
    
    
  • System is armed above 85 knots.
    オートブレーキシステムは、85ノット以上になると作動します。
    
    
  • Once armed, braking occurs when both throttles are reduced to idle.
    1度作動すると、両方のスロットルがアイドルにされるまでブレーキがかかります。
    
    
  • Selector automatically returns to OFF after takeoff.
    セレクタは、離陸後自動的にOFFに戻ります。
    
    
• 1, 2, 3, 4 MAX AUTO
  
  
  • Landing settings. Deceleration rate is dependant on selected setting.
    着陸時設定。 選択する設定毎に減速率が異なります。
    
    
  • 1 provides lowest deceleration rate.
    1 は、最小減速率です。
    
    
  • MAX AUTO provides the maximum deceleration rate.
    MAX AUTO は、最大減速率です。
    
    
  • Autobrakes engage automatically just after touchdown.
    オートブレーキは、着陸直後に自動的にエンゲージされます。

  • Disengages the Autobrake system.
    オートブレーキシステムを解除します。
    
    
• Note: Autobrakes are disengaged by applying manual brakes or by placing the Autobrake selector to DISARM.

Reserve Brakes

  • Reserve brake and steering OFF (normal position).

• Switch IN

  • Number 1 primary pump commanded on (regardless of pump switch position).
    第1プライマリポンプをオンにする(ポンプスイッチ位置を問わず)。
    
    
  • Center reserve hydraulic fluid isolated to pressurize the brake system.
    中央リザーブ油圧液をブレーキシステムへの与圧のため切り離します。
    
    
• VALVE
  
  
  • Isolation valve is either in transit or not in the commanded position.
    隔離弁は動作中か指示した位置にありません。
    
    
• BRAKE SOURCE
  
  
  • Right and center hydraulic pressures are low.
    右および中央の油圧圧力が低い状態です。
    
    
  • Extinguishes if satisfactory pressure is restored to either right or center hydraulic system.
    もし十分な圧力が、右もしくは中央の油圧システムから得られれば、消灯します。
